These are CNC machined components for nitrogen-charged off-road shock absorbers used on 4x4 pickups and competition trucks. The range covers aluminum bodies and reservoirs, end caps, pistons, steel shafts and eyelet mounts. They are aimed at off-road suspension brands and race builders that design their own shocks and need accurately machined parts that hold gas pressure and survive heat.

- Remote reservoirs, bodies, pistons and eyelets
- Hard anodized aluminum for wear and heat
- Reamed eyelet bores for spherical bearings
- Charge ports drilled and tapped for sealing

## How we make it
Bodies and remote reservoirs are bored and finished on CNC lathes, with seal grooves formed to exact widths. Pistons are turned and then drilled on a 4-axis mill to create the valving ports. Eyelets and mounts are milled from billet with reamed bores for spherical bearings. Schrader valve ports are drilled and tapped so the nitrogen charge seals reliably.

Bodies and reservoirs are usually 6061-T6 or 7075-T6 aluminum, hard anodized for wear. Aluminum also sheds heat quickly, which matters in long desert runs. Shafts are chromoly steel with hard chrome. Pistons can be aluminum or steel depending on load. Steel eyelets are zinc plated or powder coated, and aluminum caps can be color anodized for brand identity.

Bores, groove sizes and bearing seats are inspected on every part, with surface roughness checked on sealing surfaces. First-article reports and material certificates can be provided. Applications include monotube and remote-reservoir shocks for pickups, trophy trucks, UTVs and rock crawlers, as well as replacement parts for rebuildable shocks and prototype parts for new shock designs.

## FAQ
### Can you machine piston valving ports to our design?
Yes. Piston bleed and compression ports are drilled on a 4-axis mill at the angles and diameters shown on your drawing, and port edges are deburred to avoid shim damage. Shim stacks and valving specifications remain your design; we machine the hardware to match and inspect port position and size on every lot.

### What aluminum is best for an off-road shock body?
6061-T6 is common and easy to anodize. 7075-T6 is stronger, allowing thinner walls or higher internal pressure, and is often used in race shocks. Both should be hard anodized inside and out for wear and corrosion. The choice depends on wall thickness, operating pressure and budget, which we can review with you.

### How do I get a quote for 4x4 nitrogen shock absorber components for off-road trucks?
Send a 3D model (STEP or IGES) and a 2D drawing with tolerances, material, finish and quantity through the quote form or by email. An engineer replies within 24 hours on business days with price, lead time and any DFM suggestions.
