This is a lightweight motorcycle bracket CNC machined from 7075-T6 or 6061-T6 aluminum for racing and track bikes. Typical uses are rearset, fairing, dash, sensor and exhaust hanger brackets. Pockets and ribs remove weight while keeping stiffness where loads enter. It is made for race teams and accessory brands that need custom brackets in small batches to their own geometry.

- 7075-T6 aluminum for high stiffness at low weight
- Ribbed pockets follow the load path
- Reamed mounting holes aligned to frame bosses
- Black, red, blue or hard anodized finishes

## How we make it
Brackets are machined from plate on 3- and 5-axis mills, with lightening pockets cut to leave ribs along the load path. Fillet radii at pocket corners are kept generous to reduce stress concentration, which matters under vibration. Mounting holes are drilled and reamed in the same setup as the datum faces, so the bracket lines up with frame bosses.

7075-T6 has a yield strength of about 500 MPa, far above the roughly 276 MPa of 6061-T6, which lets brackets be thinner and lighter. It is harder to anodize in bright colors and less corrosion resistant, so hard anodizing or black Type II is common. 6061-T6 is cheaper and takes bright reds and blues evenly. Titanium Grade 5 is an option for very small, highly loaded brackets.

Hole positions, mounting face flatness and thickness at critical sections are checked at first article and on each lot. Edges are deburred and broken to avoid fatigue starting points. Typical buyers are race teams, accessory brands and custom builders producing rearset plates, fairing stays, steering damper mounts, quick-shifter brackets and number board supports.

## FAQ
### Is 7075 aluminum better than 6061 for motorcycle brackets?
For strength and stiffness per weight, yes. 7075-T6 is much stronger and suits highly loaded parts such as rearsets and steering damper mounts. 6061-T6 is cheaper, more corrosion resistant and anodizes in brighter colors, which suits cosmetic or lightly loaded brackets. Many racing parts use 7075 with black or hard anodizing.

### How many brackets do you need to order?
One piece is enough. Race teams often order a single prototype to fit on the bike, then a small batch after adjustments. Prototypes usually ship within about 3–7 working days. The same program is used for repeat orders, so later brackets match the approved part.

### How do I get a quote for cnc machined 7075 aluminum motorcycle racing bracket?
Send a 3D model (STEP or IGES) and a 2D drawing with tolerances, material, finish and quantity through the quote form or by email. An engineer replies within 24 hours on business days with price, lead time and any DFM suggestions.
