Category: CNC Turning Parts
URL: https://www.machined-parts-factory.com/products/cnc-turning-parts/laser-engraved-anodized-aluminum-cnc-turned-parts/

These are CNC turned and 5-axis machined aluminum parts finished with color anodizing and laser-engraved logos, part numbers or graduations. Critical features are held down to ±0.01 mm, and small orders are accepted. They suit automotive, consumer and equipment brands that want branded, traceable aluminum components such as caps, covers, adapters and trim rings.

- Laser marks reveal bright aluminum under anodize
- Sequential serial numbers or QR codes
- Turned parts finished on a 5-axis center
- Small orders accepted

## How we make it
Turned parts are produced on CNC lathes and moved to a 5-axis machining center when they need angled holes, flats or milled faces. The engraving area is finished smooth during machining, because laser marks look sharper on an even surface. After anodizing, a fiber laser removes the dyed layer to reveal bright aluminum beneath, producing high-contrast, permanent text and logos that will not rub off.

6061-T6 aluminum anodizes evenly and engraves crisply; 7075 is used where higher strength is required. Black anodize gives the strongest contrast with laser marking, while red, blue and gold produce softer contrast. Sandblasting before anodizing creates a matte finish that hides fingerprints. Serial numbers or QR codes can be engraved sequentially for traceability on each part.

Engraving position and legibility are checked on the first part and by sampling through the batch. Dimensions are measured on CMM or with gauges, with critical features 100% inspected. Colors are compared to approved samples. Typical uses include automotive interior trim, oil and fluid caps, knob inserts, product nameplates and serialized components for equipment.

## FAQ
### Does laser engraving wear off anodized parts?
No. Laser engraving removes the dyed anodic layer, so the mark is the exposed aluminum underneath rather than a printed coating. It will not rub off with handling. Very heavy abrasion can dull it over time, as with any surface.

### Can each part carry a unique serial number?
Yes. The laser system can engrave sequential serial numbers, dates, batch codes or QR codes on each part. Provide the format and starting number, and we will include a serial log with the shipment if needed.

### How do I get a quote for laser-engraved anodized aluminum cnc turned parts?
Send a 3D model (STEP or IGES) and a 2D drawing with tolerances, material, finish and quantity through the quote form or by email. An engineer replies within 24 hours on business days with price, lead time and any DFM suggestions.
