These are CNC machined hookah (shisha) components in 304 stainless steel, such as stems, downstems, bowls, trays, purge valves, hose adapters and base connectors. They are turned and milled, with micro-drilled and EDM-cut details, then polished or brushed. Aluminum and brass options are available. They are made for hookah brands wanting durable, corrosion-resistant parts with clean threads and smooth airflow.

- Straight, smooth deep bores for airflow
- Purge valve seats machined and seal-tested
- Mirror-polished or brushed 304 stainless
- EDM-cut decorative details and patterns

## How we make it
Hookah stems are long turned parts with internal bores for airflow, so we drill and bore them straight and smooth, using gun-drilling methods for deep bores. Threads join stem sections and bases, and purge valves need small precise seats for the check ball. Decorative grooves, holes and cut patterns are milled or, for intricate shapes, wire EDM cut. Burrs inside air passages are removed carefully.

304 stainless steel is preferred because it resists corrosion from water and heat and is easy to clean. Mirror polishing gives a high-gloss look; brushing gives a satin finish that hides marks. Aluminum parts are lighter and can be color anodized, while brass is used for decorative fittings. Stainless parts are passivated to prevent rust spots from handling.

Thread fit between sections is checked with gauges and by assembly, bore straightness is verified, and polished surfaces are inspected for scratches before packing. Purge valve seats are inspected for roundness and surface finish. Typical parts include hookah stems and downstems, bowl heads, ash trays, purge valves, hose connectors, diffusers and base adapters.

## FAQ
### Why is 304 stainless steel used for hookah stems?
304 stainless resists corrosion from water, smoke and heat, keeps its appearance after repeated cleaning, and is strong enough for long thin stems. It does not impart flavor and can be mirror polished. Aluminum is lighter and colorful but scratches and corrodes more easily.

### Can you machine the intricate cut-out patterns on hookah stems?
Yes. Simple holes and slots are milled, while complex or fine patterns can be cut with wire EDM, which works well in stainless steel and produces sharp details. Share your artwork or 3D model and we will suggest the most efficient method.

### How do I get a quote for cnc machined 304 stainless steel hookah parts?
Send a 3D model (STEP or IGES) and a 2D drawing with tolerances, material, finish and quantity through the quote form or by email. An engineer replies within 24 hours on business days with price, lead time and any DFM suggestions.
