This one-stop service makes stainless steel sheet metal parts by laser cutting, press-brake bending and stamping, with CNC machining and welding added where needed. Typical parts include brackets, clips, shields, enclosures and mounting plates in 304 or 316 stainless. It is aimed at buyers who want fabricated and machined features handled by one supplier instead of several.

- Laser cutting and bending without tooling for low volumes
- Stamping dies for repeat, higher-volume parts
- Springback compensated for work-hardening stainless
- Post-weld passivation and heat-tint removal

## How we make it
Low quantities usually start with laser cutting and press-brake bending, which need no dedicated tooling. When volumes grow, repeat parts such as clips and small brackets can move to progressive or single-hit stamping dies, which lowers the piece cost but requires a tooling investment. We review the design with you to decide where the switch makes sense for your forecast.

304 stainless is the default for general fabrication; 316 is used in marine, food or chemical contact. Stainless work-hardens when bent, so springback is greater than with mild steel and bend angles are compensated in the program. Finishes include No.4 brushed, bead blasted, electropolished-style bright finishes by polishing, and passivation after welding to restore corrosion resistance.

Bend angles, flange lengths and hole positions are measured on the first article; for stamped parts, the first-off from each die setup is checked before the run. Weld seams are inspected visually and cleaned of heat tint. Typical products include equipment brackets, sensor mounts, kitchen equipment panels, spring clips and electrical shield covers.

## FAQ
### When should I switch from laser cutting to stamping?
Stamping becomes economical once annual volume is high enough to recover the die cost through a lower piece price, often in the thousands of parts for simple shapes. For prototypes and low volumes, laser cutting and bending are faster and need no tooling. We can quote both routes for comparison.

### Why do stainless steel parts need passivation after welding?
Welding and handling leave free iron and heat tint on the surface, which can rust. Passivation uses an acid treatment to remove that contamination and help the chromium oxide layer reform, restoring the corrosion resistance that makes stainless worth using.

### How do I get a quote for stainless steel sheet metal bending & stamping parts?
Send a 3D model (STEP or IGES) and a 2D drawing with tolerances, material, finish and quantity through the quote form or by email. An engineer replies within 24 hours on business days with price, lead time and any DFM suggestions.
