CNC Machined Aluminum Personal Watercraft & Motorcycle Parts

These are custom CNC milled and turned parts for personal watercraft (PWC) and motorcycles, such as ride plates, intake grates, levers, brackets and pump covers. We machine them from 6061-T6 or 7075-T6 aluminum and 316 stainless steel, then sandblast and anodize them. They suit aftermarket brands and OEM teams that need corrosion-resistant billet parts in low volumes.

Manufacturing

How we make this part

Process, material options and inspection for cnc machined aluminum personal watercraft & motorcycle parts.

A watercraft or motorcycle part usually starts as a 3D model and a short list of mating features: bolt patterns, seal grooves and clearance to the hull or frame. We program 3-axis toolpaths for flat plates and move complex grates or pump covers to 4- or 5-axis milling, so curved surfaces and angled holes are cut in one setup. Turned items such as spacers and fittings run on CNC lathes.

Salt water is the main design constraint. 6061-T6 anodized aluminum is the default because it machines cleanly and accepts a uniform Type II color layer of roughly 5–25 µm. For ride plates or skid areas, Type III hard anodize builds a thicker, more wear-resistant layer, at the cost of fewer color choices. Where galvanic contact with stainless hardware is likely, 316 stainless or passivated 304 parts avoid pitting better than bare aluminum.

Each first article is measured against the drawing before the batch runs, and critical bores, threads and sealing faces are checked on every part before shipment. Thread gauges confirm tapped holes, which matters when fasteners are installed with thread locker on a moving machine. Typical uses include PWC intake grates, sponsons, steering levers, footpeg mounts and motorcycle engine covers produced for aftermarket catalogs.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which aluminum alloy holds up best on a personal watercraft?

6061-T6 with a sealed anodize is the usual choice because it resists salt-water corrosion well and machines cleanly. 7075-T6 is stronger but less corrosion resistant, so we recommend it only for highly loaded parts and always with a good anodize seal and regular fresh-water rinsing.

Can you match the color of my existing aftermarket parts?

Yes, in most cases. Send a physical sample or a color reference and we run anodize test coupons from the same alloy before production. Exact matches depend on alloy and surface texture, since sandblasted and machined surfaces take dye differently, so we confirm the result with you first.

How do I get a quote for cnc machined aluminum personal watercraft & motorcycle parts?

Send a 3D model (STEP or IGES) and a 2D drawing with tolerances, material, finish and quantity through the quote form or by email. An engineer replies within 24 hours on business days with price, lead time and any DFM suggestions.
