Mini Precision CNC Turned Aluminum Spare Parts
These are small, precise aluminum spare parts made by CNC turning, such as spacers, pins, bushings, adapters, thumb screws and small pulleys. Parts are typically a few millimeters to a few centimeters in size, with fine threads, grooves and knurls. They suit appliance repair suppliers, equipment builders and product designers who need small aluminum parts that are not available off the shelf.

Manufacturing
How we make this part
Process, material options and inspection for mini precision cnc turned aluminum spare parts.
Mini parts run on Swiss-type style lathes or small CNC lathes with sub-spindles, which complete both ends in one cycle. Fine threads, micro grooves and small cross holes are cut with miniature tools. Burr control is important on small parts, so tool paths include chamfers and parts are tumbled or brushed after machining.
6061-T6 is the default for its strength and anodizing quality; 2011 free-machining aluminum gives excellent chips and finish on high-volume small parts but anodizes less well. 7075 is used for small high-stress pins. Small aluminum parts are often anodized for color coding or corrosion protection; painting is also available for color matching.
Small diameters are checked with micrometers and optical comparators, threads with gauges, and critical features on every lot. Parts are packed carefully in bags or trays to prevent damage. Typical uses include appliance spare parts, model and RC components, camera accessories, instrument parts, small pulleys and spacers for 3D printers.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How small can you turn aluminum parts?
Parts with diameters down to about 1–2 mm and fine features like small grooves and threads are practical on Swiss-type style lathes. Very fine features depend on part length and tolerance. Send the drawing and we will confirm feasibility and the best machine.
Why use 2011 aluminum for small turned parts?
2011 is a free-machining alloy that produces small chips and excellent surface finish, ideal for high-volume small turned parts. However, it has lower corrosion resistance and anodizes less evenly than 6061. Choose 6061 when appearance and corrosion resistance matter more than machining speed.
How do I get a quote for mini precision cnc turned aluminum spare parts?
Send a 3D model (STEP or IGES) and a 2D drawing with tolerances, material, finish and quantity through the quote form or by email. An engineer replies within 24 hours on business days with price, lead time and any DFM suggestions.
