CNC Machined Anodized Aluminum Mechanical Parts
These are CNC machined anodized aluminum mechanical parts such as guide rails, levers, clamps, cam plates, covers and adapters for machines and equipment. Parts are milled and turned from 6061 or 7075, then anodized in clear, black or colors. Stainless steel fasteners, inserts and pins can be supplied to complete assemblies. They suit machine designers and OEMs.

How we make this part
Process, material options and inspection for cnc machined anodized aluminum mechanical parts.
Mechanical parts are milled from plate or turned from bar, with sliding faces finished smooth and holes positioned from a common datum. Steel thread inserts are installed after anodizing in parts that will be assembled often. Dowel holes are reamed after anodizing or sized for coating growth. Small sub-assemblies with stainless pins or bushings are put together and checked.
6061-T6 is the default for its balance of strength, machinability and anodizing quality. 7075-T6 is chosen for high-load levers and clamps. Clear anodizing keeps a natural metal look; black reduces glare; colors help identify parts. Hard anodizing protects guides and sliding faces from wear. Steel and titanium components are used where aluminum is not strong enough.
Dimensions, fits and coating thickness are checked on samples, and assemblies are tested for smooth motion. Critical dimensions are inspected before shipping. Typical parts include linear guides, clamp levers, cam plates, sensor brackets, adjustment knobs, covers and adapters for packaging, printing and automation equipment, with fasteners and inserts supplied as complete kits on request.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Why add steel thread inserts to aluminum parts?
Aluminum threads can wear or strip with repeated assembly or high torque. Helical or key-locking steel inserts give stronger, more durable threads. They are installed after anodizing to keep the coating out of the threads. Specify insert type and size on the drawing.
Can anodized aluminum be used for sliding parts?
Yes, especially with hard anodizing, which provides a very hard surface that resists wear. Pairing anodized aluminum with plastics like POM or PTFE, or adding lubrication, improves performance. Avoid aluminum sliding on aluminum without a coating, as it can gall.
How do I get a quote for cnc machined anodized aluminum mechanical parts?
Send a 3D model (STEP or IGES) and a 2D drawing with tolerances, material, finish and quantity through the quote form or by email. An engineer replies within 24 hours on business days with price, lead time and any DFM suggestions.
