CNC Milled Aluminum Aerospace Brackets and Fittings
These are lightweight aluminum brackets, fittings, clips and ribs CNC milled from 7075-T6, 2024 or 6061-T6 for aerospace and UAV development programs. Pockets, thin walls and precise hole patterns are held at 0.01–0.05 mm. Brass and stainless steel parts are available too. They suit airframe, drone and satellite teams needing light, strong structural parts for prototypes and low-volume production.

Manufacturing
How we make this part
Process, material options and inspection for cnc milled aluminum aerospace brackets and fittings.
Aerospace-style brackets are mostly material removal: thin webs and ribs left from thick plate. We rough with high-efficiency toolpaths, leave stock for stress relief, then finish walls with balanced cuts on both sides to avoid distortion. 5-axis machining reaches angled faces and undercuts. Holes for rivets or fasteners are drilled to position tolerance, and edges are broken to remove sharp corners that can start fatigue cracks.
7075-T6 has very high strength-to-weight and is common for structural fittings; 2024 offers better fatigue resistance; 6061 is easier to work and weldable. Anodizing, chromate-free conversion coating or primer and paint protect the aluminum. Stainless steel is used for high-temperature or wear areas. Material certificates confirm alloy and temper for each lot, which supports traceability in development programs.
Parts are inspected on CMM with full reports at first article, and critical dimensions are 100% checked in production. We operate under ISO 9001; we do not hold AS9100, so flight-certified parts must follow your own qualification route. Typical uses include UAV airframe brackets, avionics mounts, antenna fittings, test-rig parts and satellite prototype structures.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Can you supply parts for certified aircraft?
We operate an ISO 9001 quality system and supply prototypes, test parts and UAV components with material certificates and inspection reports. We do not hold AS9100 or aviation authority approvals, so parts for certified aircraft must be qualified through your own process.
7075 or 2024 aluminum for structural brackets?
7075-T6 offers higher static strength and is the usual choice for stiff, compact fittings. 2024 has better fatigue and crack-growth resistance, which suits cyclically loaded parts. Both corrode more readily than 6061 and should be anodized or coated.
How do I get a quote for cnc milled aluminum aerospace brackets and fittings?
Send a 3D model (STEP or IGES) and a 2D drawing with tolerances, material, finish and quantity through the quote form or by email. An engineer replies within 24 hours on business days with price, lead time and any DFM suggestions.
