CNC Machined Non-Standard Brass Small Parts
These are non-standard small brass parts machined to customer drawings, such as spacers, bushings, adapters, valve parts, pins and decorative fittings. They are CNC turned and milled from brass, with stainless steel options, and finished as machined, oxidized, polished or plated. They suit equipment makers who need small custom parts that are not available from standard catalogs.

How we make this part
Process, material options and inspection for cnc machined non-standard brass small parts.
Non-standard parts often arrive with incomplete drawings, so we review the design first and confirm critical dimensions and tolerances before machining. Most brass parts are turned on CNC lathes and completed with live tooling for flats and cross holes. Milled features are added on small machining centers. Batches are produced with the same setup to keep parts consistent.
Brass offers excellent machinability, corrosion resistance and good electrical conductivity. Chemical oxidation, also called blackening or patination, darkens the surface for an antique look or to reduce glare. Nickel and chrome plating give a bright, durable finish. For parts needing higher strength or corrosion resistance, 303 or 304 stainless steel is an alternative.
All critical dimensions are measured, threads are checked with gauges, and finishes are inspected for consistency. Inspection reports are available on request, and the approved first article is kept as a reference so later repeat orders can be compared against it. Typical uses include equipment spacers, electrical terminals, instrument bushings, valve adapters, decorative fittings and replacement parts for discontinued products.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Can you make a part from a sample instead of a drawing?
Yes. We measure the sample, create a drawing for your approval and then machine the part. Worn areas should be noted, as we will try to restore original dimensions. For tight fits, the mating part or its dimensions help ensure a correct result.
What does oxidized brass look like?
Oxidized brass has a darkened surface, ranging from bronze to deep brown or black depending on the process. It gives an antique look and reduces shine. Because it is a thin conversion layer, it can wear on high-contact areas, which some designs use deliberately for a vintage effect.
How do I get a quote for cnc machined non-standard brass small parts?
Send a 3D model (STEP or IGES) and a 2D drawing with tolerances, material, finish and quantity through the quote form or by email. An engineer replies within 24 hours on business days with price, lead time and any DFM suggestions.
